Changshu Steel Tower Co., Ltd. (CSTC), located in Garden City, Changshu, entitled by United Nation and close to Shanghai Port, is one of the largest and best steel tower factories under the State Power of China. Now, China Power Grid Corporation which is responsible for the construction and management of whole power grid and was in charge of construction of 500KV T/L with about 10,000 long of "three Gorge" hydropower plant in China has been the main shareholder of our Company.

CSTC was found in 1992 with the modern complete equipment for angle and plate steel processing and technology from Italy and technique, galvanized zinc equipment from Germany, USA and production capacity of 100,000 tons/year. CSTC, occupying over 120000sqm area with staff member of over 1480, is a key production unit of the Chinese Ministry of Power, specialized in manufacturing steel towers from 110KV to 1000KV, which have been tested with destroy forces at the Modern Power Laboratory, meeting the international standards of ISO, ASTM in Beijing. Our Company has been accredited with certificate of ISO 9002 in Feb, 1997.

Our steel towers have been successfully supplied to more over 200 projects of 500kv and we have first 750KV important transmission lines in China. Our electric steel towers and communication steel towers have been exported to USA, Japan, Iran, Malaysia, Australia, South Africa, etc. In 2000, we awarded the contract for supply of steel tower with 346.5M in height and about 4000MT/unit for 500KV T/L across the Yangtze River of Jiangyin loaned by World Bank.
